Hex Spinners

What started as a failed motor design turned into a simple fidget toy. Hex Spinners are small, magnetically coupled devices that I designed, prototyped, and made. The goal was just to create something satisfying, quiet, and fun to use, with a simple hex-based design.

This project involved CAD design, a lot of trial and error, and small-scale manufacturing. As it grew, I started Hex Fidgets LLC with a business partner to bring the product to market.

Hex Spinners have gotten really positive feedback for being calming and having lots of fun ways to play with them. People often mention that the smooth, repetitive motion helps them stay focused or keep their hands busy.
